BIRCO quality management
BIRCO tests the materials from its suppliers and its own products regularly with the very latest metrology technology. Testing is conducted by our own quality management experts as well as by external, independent monitoring institutions. An agreement to conduct such testing was even concluded with the "Materialprufungsamt for Bauproducts PUZ Bau", an acknowledged and highly regarded German testing institution for construction products. Consistent testing plans allow us to register all of the relevant data and compose comprehensible test reports.
Goods received inspection
We conduct initial sample testing (documented in EMPB), we inspect all goods received for the stipulated quality characteristics and we monitor product quality continuously throughout the production process. In this way, our own production processes as well as those of our suppliers are under systematic surveillance. All of this results in a quality standard that you can rely on.
Best materials and processing
BIRCO only uses high quality C 40/50 concrete for its concrete channels. The stainless steel channels and covers are made of V2A steel. Cast covers are black-immersion lacquered or galvanised, metal gratings are delivered galvanised.
Our 4 mm solid steel frame connectors are galvanised with a 70 μm thick layer and embedded into the channel..
